The Przegalina Lock is a unique hydrotechnical structure that plays a key role in navigation on the Martwa Wisła. It is a place with a rich history – the original lock was built in the late 19th century as part of a larger project to regulate the Vistula. Currently, in addition to its important technical functions, the facility attracts the attention of tourists and water engineering enthusiasts.

C&C Partners delivered a modern monitoring and management system (VMS) to the facility, which significantly increases the level of safety and efficiency of the lock. The scope of the project includes:

Camera system

We installed 33 cameras equipped with SFP modules, which were connected using fiber optic cables. The cameras monitor key areas of the facility, allowing for full control over the situation in the lock.

VMS VDG SENSE

The integrated VMS system analyzes real-time data, including water level, which is crucial for the operation of the lock. The system allows for a quick response in the event of detection of deviations or potential threats.

Entry control to the premises

A camera with license plate recognition (ANPR)  improves access management and increases security on the premises.

Implementation effects

Thanks to modern technological solutions, Przegalina has gained not only a new level of monitoring, but also the possibility of ongoing data analysis and precise infrastructure management.

We are glad that we could contribute to the development of this historical and strategic place!
