Fiber optic pigtails are sections of fiber optics terminated on one side with a connector. They are manufactured as standard on an internal cable with a diameter of 0.9 mm. They are used to terminate fiber optic line cables in fiber optic distribution boxes, subscriber sockets and boxes with switching fields.
