Cable trays are used for installation in telecommunications networks and are designed to protect the spare fibre optic cable laid in the cable pipeline. They are made of polyethylene and are an excellent alternative to their counterparts made in a traditional way, e.g. from concrete. The trays consist of a body, a polyethylene cover and a seal for the cover. The frontal flat inlets in the corners allow for the introduction of pipes with a standard diameter of 32 mm, 40 mm and 50 mm into the trays. The pipes can be inserted using: rubber seals, welded half-connectors, welded stubs or using half-connectors with a thread and a nut.
