UTF systems operate with one or two optical fibers. Up-the-Fibre receivers can support one or two video, data or CC channels. The UTF module supports EasyC-s. With EasyC-s, a group of receivers only uses one external data connection, simplifying system implementation and maintenance. Only the data port needs to be configured in the receiver, the transmitter automatically follows. The bidirectional RS-485/422 data interface supports PTZ data from all types of camera interfaces, including RS-485, TTY, Manchester, two-phase, SensorNet, etc. In addition, the module offers an isolated alarm contact closure output, such as door contacts, tamper contacts, etc. Their wide operating temperature range makes the compact, stand-alone transmitters suitable for use in outdoor camera housings and for example camera junction boxes. UTF receivers are also available as standalone devices.
