Utilizing both thermal and visible light in one camera. and visible light in one camera, its applications are endless: from perimeter surveillance to fire detection to traffic incident monitoring. The XCU and its accessories are double protected against corrosion and are made entirely of powder-coated stainless steel (316L). The housing is hermetically sealed against water and dust, making it ideal for use in harsh environments such as traffic, tunnels, marine, offshore, heavy industry, waste management, etc. The direct fiber connection makes it suitable for long distances and less susceptible to interference.
