Cat. 6 STP plug is a tool solution (dedicated MMCP86METBW crimper is needed for wire termination), which allows the installation of a shielded cable, with a single wire not exceeding 1.2mm outer diameter. The plug is suitable for a cable with an outer diameter of max. 7.9mm. An ideal plug for security systems, i.e. CCTV, IDS, Intercom and for sending PoE and PoE+ applications. The plug enables cat. 6A cable termination, but we recommend using category 6A tool-free plugs (IDC connectors) to ensure the best transmission parameters of the cable and access to send 4PPoE applications. The plug is not suitable for certification of the MPTL link (module-plug direct link on the installation cable).
