The New City Stadium in four stands will accommodate approx. 20.5 thousand. viewers. The Florian Krygier Stadium is known among fans as Paprikana from combining the name of the famous Maracana stadium in Rio de Janeiro with the name of Paprykarz Szczeciński, with which the city was associated in the times of the PRL (regime before 1989).
Access control and video surveillance from C&C Partners at the Pogoń Szczecin stadium
As part of the project, a new two-story building for the Training Center for Children and Youth will be built along with a complex of training pitches. In addition, four football pitches will be built, including three full-size ones and one with an artificial surface reduced by about 10% in relation to the dimensions of the grass pitch.
The building will house changing rooms for athletes, rooms for coaches, storage rooms, a cafe, a gym and a wellness area. As part of the stadium reconstruction, a fourth stand, the so-called eastern, which will include a restaurant, fan shop with a cafe and, in the future, the Pogoń museum.
In order to enable Pogoń Szczecin to constantly play with the facility during its construction, the investment has been divided into two stages. In the first one, a new west (former arch) and south stand will be built. Only after the club and fans have been moved to new sectors, the demolition on the other side (north) and the development of the previously open space behind the eastern gate will start.

Functional assumptions of the used security systems
The project of building the new Pogoń Stadium is a huge challenge due to the complexity of the systems, dispersion and the requirement of integration. The project assumed the creation of a coherent safety management system (SMS) for the Pogoń Stadium, allowing the control and management of all systems from the level of common visualization.
The idea of an integrated security system assumes the integration of:
- Access Control System
- Intrusion detection system
- CCTV IP video surveillance system
- Intercom System
All elements of the installed integrated security system use the TCP / IP network for communication. This enables the integration of such a highly distributed system.
Elements of the security systems used by C&C Partners in the Pogoni Stadium project in Szczecin:
Safety management system (SMS):
- IProtect SMS platform
- Access control system with Sirius readers
- Alphatronic - the intrusion and detection system
- VMS CCTV VDG Sense platform
- Commend intercom system
Native integrations within SMS:
- VMS CCTV VDG Sense platform
- IProtect platform from KD
- Commend intercom system
- Alphatronics the intrusuion detection system
Security network:
- MMC LAN network with a 25-year warranty
- Fiber optic cabling
Project in numbers:
- 500 TKH Security and Hanhwa cameras
- 6 VDG Sense servers
- 5 Alphavision central units
- SMS and KD iProtect server
- 300 KD readers
- Commend intercom exchange
- 200 km of MMC structured cabling and fiber optic systems
Planned completion of the investment: June 2022
